Let yourself feel God's love - February 1, 2021

 Family and Friends,

What a blessed week it has been! We have another snow storm passing through today, but the best part is is that we have 2 huge hills by our apartment and our neighbor gave us a sled! So let's just say it has been a lot of fun, hahaha

But this week has been full of miracles! The first one was with our new friend Jared! He self referraled himself back in October and he has been ghosting the missionaries ever since, he would set up a lesson and then just hang up on them. So it has been a struggle to get in contact with him, but at like 8:55pm one night, we decided to call up Jared! And he picked up and we talked a little bit and then set up a video lesson for this Thursday. And he came to that one! So we had a super good lesson with him and we asked him why he wanted to talk to us and why he didn't pick up on us. And he shared with us that just 2 hours before he was praying for God, asking for a sign. And then we called him, but the coolest thing he said was that he also HEARD a difference in our voices. How cool is that, he could hear the Holy Ghost through our voices! When I started the quarantine I never thought that would be possible, that someone could feel the spirit just over a phone call! But it happened, and we've had 3 lessons with him since Wednesday and he came to church yesterday!

We also had a super good lesson with our friend David this past week! He is the member we met with last week that wants to come back to God. And we had a really good lesson with him and our Bishop and David said something that has really changed my life! We asked him if he's been able to feel God's love recently and he said that he has, and he said that he has because he said, "I am now letting myself feel God's love!" He said that he was struggling a lot with guilt and hatred and was not letting himself feel of God's love, but now he is and his whole life has changed! Isn't that so cool!

We also found this guy on Facebook that was taught by missionaries in the past and had a baptismal date, but just fell off the radar. But we started talking and it was one of those conversations where we didn't have to say much and he just opens up. He explained what he's doing  with his life now, and then he said that he wants to get baptized because he loved the church and the members! So be watching out for that

I love you all
