Hello Family and Friends, how's it going! What a super crazy week it has been, we've been all over the place, but it's been super fun!
So it turns out that the area that I am serving in, is in the top 5 richest counties in America (don't know if that's true), but here in Howard County there are some very well off people. But we are still able to see a lot of success which I think is absolutely Fabulous!
It was a little sad this week, because I was able to take two of the old companions to the airport (Elders Nelson and Haskell) because they are finishing their missions! So it was sad to see them go, but it was still a fun experience!
We had a super cool experience this past week, where things happened and a missionary had to go home early and so some missionaries had to be moved around, and we got to take one of my best friends up to his new area! And the whole time up there we were speaking in Spanish and then at the end of the night he asked me for a blessing and I was able to give him, and he let me do it in Spanish! It was one of the coolest experiences that I have had and I love feeling like and instrument in the Lord's hands!
Also some good news, I met a couple of people here in the branch yesterday and there is one lady who is from Cuba, a husband and wife who served in Lima, Peru and Mission President and Wife, and a man from Mexico! So I still get to practice my Spanish, whoot whoot!
I love you all, and have a blessed week!
Elder Jorge
Also there's another Elder Jorgensen in the mission
