365 days - March 15, 2021

 Friends and Family,

365 days ago was the last day we were outside. I was eating Birthday cake in a members house, and thought life was going to be normal.

Tomorrow will be the one year anniversary that we have been in quarantine! And what an absolutely amazing year it has been! I can't even begin to describe how grateful and lucky I have been to be able to be called one of the original "quarantine missionaries"! What an honor!

But this week was an incredible week as well! First off we were bouncing around all over the place again this week, and I was able to go up to York for an exchange this week and see my old area. I can't believe it hasn't even been 3 weeks since I left, but it was so much fun to see old friends and catch up with them! But the best part about it all, was I was able to see my friend Bill right before he got baptized! I wasn't able to be there in person for when the baptism took place (covid restrictions), but I was able to take a pic before and watch it all over zoom! Let me tell you that the gospel changes lives! Just about 8 weeks ago, when I first met Bill was a completely different person than the one who was baptized this weekend! You could literally see his progression and conversion. Christ changes people!

We found a lady this past week who is from Chile, and she wants us to teach her son Spanish. So we have been doing that and she really appreciates the example we set for him and all we do! We thought hey, there's some young men her son's age in the branch and she should come so he can have friends. So we invited her Saturday night and she came Sunday morning and is going to bring her son next week! Whoooot Whoooooot!!!!!

Keep on going, there are miracles all around! Love you!
Elder Jorge
