Friends and Family,
What another amazing week it has been, time is absolutely starting to fly by and it's getting kind of scary not going to lie! But we have seen so many miracles this week as well!
So to start, this week we had a mission tour with Elder Bennet of the seventy and it was so cool! He came to our mission last year around this time right before the quarantine! But this year because he did it all from his house, we had a 2 hour meeting with him every day this week! And the revelation was off the charts! It was soooooo coooooool! I was also able to have a quick little interview with him and my companion for 15 minuets! And that was so very cool!
But we are starting to find so many people to teach and one thing Elder Bennet focused on was building trust and showing love to the members! So this past week we had a call with one family, but only the two young adult children were there! One of them got back from her mission about a year ago! And then other son had his girlfriend there with him. And we got to know them and shared a message and at the end we asked if there was anything we could do for them and they asked if we could start teaching the girlfriend! So he we were the whole time teaching a lesson and didn't even realize that one of them wasn't a member, hahaha! But hey good sign!
Follow up on the guy who texted us last week who wanted to get baptized. So we lost contact with him and so we decided to start messaging the wife and she finally got back to us today and told us that she was good but was a little hurt when the ward boundaries changed a couple of years ago and was forced into another ward, and so that's why everything got put on hold. But the crazy thing is that about 3 months ago, they changed the boundaries again and now she is back in her old ward! So hopefully she will start coming back!!!
Also another cool story, some guy that we were teaching wants us to reach out and start teaching his wife! But the crazy thing is is that they were taught back like 3 years ago and he had a baptismal date, but apparently the missionaries did something pretty bad and the wife didn't want anymore of it! And so they move here in York and who does the Lord put as his neighbors, the missionaries! He lives in our very same complex! How amazing is that!
I love when the Lord works crazy tiny little miracles! Tender mercies are real!
